Kara Che is a 13-year-old seventh-grade student at Loma Linda Academy. She began studying piano at age five and violin at age six, and currently studies piano with Erika Scheidel Ramos and violin with Dr. Sarah Dudas.

As a piano soloist, Kara has earned numerous awards, including honorable mentions and third place at the Inland Empire Piano Festival between 2023 and 2026. In 2024, she also received Honorable Mention in the Concerto Piano Competition. She has participated in the CAPMT Solo and Ensemble Festival, earning top scores and receiving Certificate of Merit State Honors multiple times.

Kara performs as a violinist with the Intermezzo Claremont Young Musicians Orchestra (CYMO) and is also a member of her school’s concert orchestra. Her other interests are reading, playing volleyball and basketball.
